The Italian community in Zagreb celebrated its 19th anniversary on April 24, 2026. The Association of Italians from Tuzla has had fruitful cooperation with the Italian community in Zagreb since 2024, and is happy to support the successes of the Zagreb community.

The president, Professor Daniela Dapas, wrote: In a pleasant and festive atmosphere, about fifty guests gathered who, together with us, marked another year of activity of our Community. The evening was filled with a rich cultural and artistic program - from classical music (Paolo Cancedda), poetry (Ungaretti), personal stories and recitations, to a musical conclusion in the spirit of Italian tradition. A special moment of the evening was the arrival of the Croatian Radio and Television Children's Choir, led by Nina Cossetto, who delighted the audience with their performance and brought additional warmth to the program. It was with great pleasure that we hosted the Italian ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, Paolo Trichilo, which made this event even more important and festive. He greeted the crowd. President Dapas addressed the audience on behalf of the Community, emphasizing the importance of preserving the Italian language, culture and identity in Zagreb. After the artistic part, along with the exhibition of the children's works, we continued the socializing with a reception and fantastic Italian cocktails. Thank you to everyone who was with us and contributed to this beautiful evening - together we build and nurture our community.
