The President of the Network for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Bibanović, and one of the founders of the Network, Duško Cvjetinović, from the Citizens' Association "SOMETHING MORE", visited the Association "Rino Zandonai". UGIP "Rino Zandonai" Tuzla is a member of the network and participates in the work of the network. The aim of the meeting was to verify the founding documents and agree on further activities of the Network.
The goals of the Network, which is a legal entity, are as follows:
- Activities to provide funds for the restoration, preservation, development and improvement of cultural heritage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Advocating for the improvement of existing and participating in the creation of new regulations related to cultural heritage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Education and information in accordance with the needs of members involved in the preservation of cultural heritage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project activities in accordance with the goals and purpose of the Network;
- Promoting and encouraging the use of cultural heritage for educational/tourism purposes
- Protection of cultural heritage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Monitoring the status of protected cultural assets
- Improving regulations that enable civil society organizations to manage, preserve and promote cultural heritage in a broader, comprehensive sense
- Creating new regulations through participation in dialogue with other organizations and institutions
- Increasing awareness among the general public about the importance of culture in the function of tourism and economic activity
- Cooperation with other organizations and networks in the region, Europe and the world
- Representation of member interests, protection of sites from destruction due to activities within the framework of the green agenda (solar panels)
- Participation in dialogue with other organizations and institutions with the aim of preserving cultural heritage, in accordance with this statute and other regulations and acts of the Network;
- Determination of its representatives in tripartite bodies and organs;
- And other goals that the founders find to be in the interest of the Network.
