MEMORY OF MIROSLAV ZAMBONI _ 16.7.2025.

Zamboni Miroslav, son of Rudolf and Marija Zamboni from Tuzla, died in Zagreb on July 16, 2025, due to a serious illness. Miroslav Mirče Zamboni is the uncle of Tihomir and Željka Knežiček. Miroslav was born on February 2, 1937, in Kreka. He graduated from the Gymnasium in Tuzla and went to study in Zagreb. While he was in gymnasium, he played basketball in the first league in “Sloboda”, previously in “Proleter” Kreka. Although he was not tall, Miroslav was an outstanding basketball player, and those days are still talked about today by old Kreka residents who played basketball for Partizan in Kreka. After graduating from gymnasium, he went to study in Zagreb in 1956. While studying in Zagreb, he hung out with a group of Tuzla residents who were also studying in Zagreb, including Jakov Mott. He did not finish his studies, he stayed in Zagreb and started a family. He worked in administrative jobs until his retirement. His wife Ljerka died in 2021, his son Darje died in 2017. Daughter Arijana spent her whole life with Mirceta. He was buried on Mirogoj on 7/24/2025. year.
