Discussions with the competent persons of the Lukavac Cultural Center were mutually satisfactory for the Italian Association to set up the exhibition "Crafts of Italian Roots" in the exhibition space of the Homeland Collection of the Lukavac Cultural Center. The exhibition was announced with posters on the city's bulletin boards and doors of the Cultural Center, as well as via social networks. The exhibition was set up from 27.12. to 31.12. 2024., and the opening of the exhibition was at 2 pm in the Homeland Collection. The concept of the exhibition was the same as in Tuzla, and the exhibits on display were the same exhibits that were on display at the exhibition in Tuzla. A special roll-up and the flag of Trentino were also set up in the Homeland Collection, and guests of the exhibition could take a catalog of exhibits (DOWNLOAD CATALOG HERE) presented at the exhibition. After the presentation of the exhibition in the Homeland Collection, the exhibition was placed in the exhibition space of the Homeland Collection. The exhibition was opened by Tihomir Knežiček, president of the Association, and Mihad Sakić on behalf of the Lukavac Cultural Center. Although the exhibition was announced in the media and through social networks and personal announcements, there were 8 people at the opening. The exhibition was also praised by a representative of the City of Lukavac who visited the Lukavac Cultural Center. One of the reasons for the low turnout at the opening was the bad weather, i.e. heavy snow that made movement difficult. However, in the following days, a larger number of citizens visited the exhibition. Guests at the exhibition were served refreshments, coffee and sweets. According to the Lukavac Cultural Center, the exhibition in Lukavac was visited by about 120 people over the course of 5 days (students, artists, a photographer, citizens belonging to national minorities, employees of the Cultural Center, clergy and members of Lukavac citizens' associations).
