The Candotti family came to Tuzla at the beginning of the 19th century from Udine. The construction entrepreneur Luigi Điđi Nono Candotti, born in 1870, and married to Maria, born in 1873, came. Luigi Candotti founded construction companies in Tuzla that dealt with stone processing, they made molds for castings in concrete and plaster, ornaments on buildings, sculptures, produced lime and had a brick factory in Slavinovići. They lived in what was then Konjanicka Street (today the Sixth Bosnian Brigade - from Skver towards Tušnje) under Kicelja - Vila Marija. In addition to the living space in the yard, there was also an office building of the company and another building in which there was a small winery. Luigi died in 1949, and all the sons moved to Italy.

Borislav Boro Šuha was born in 1952 in Tuzla. His parents were Valeria Šuha née Candotti and Eduard Šuha. Boro did not marry and has no descendants, and he spent his life in the superblock – on Irac. Borislav was a passionate fisherman, he stuffed fish, successfully repaired electronic devices, and his profession was related to the repair and installation of X-ray machines at the University Clinical Center Tuzla. Due to diabetes, he was not in the best of health, and he died quite suddenly on 3.3.2025. He was buried in Tuzla.

For decades, Borislav researched his family origin, which is Italian on the mother's side and Czech on the father's side. He recorded information about the ancestors and when he got a clear picture of the Italian and Czech origins, Borislav drew a family tree for the Candotti family (one tree) and for the Šuha family (another tree). He printed the drawing of the family tree in several copies on a large format in color. So his family tree, like a picture hung on the wall, decorated the room where he spent most of his time. One copy was given to the writer of these lines by Knežiček. And now is an opportunity to show the tree to others in order to get to know the Candotti family (who doesn't know it) and so that the picture of the tree would be a motivation for others to research their family roots and make an overview of their ancestors and family ties.
