The exhibition "Renaissance on Canvas - Il Perugino" presented Italian Renaissance painters with a focus on the works of Il Perugino. The exhibition was held in Lukavac at the Cultural Center from 20.11. to 26.11. 2024. in the exhibition space of the Cultural Center. Il Perugino was presented at the exhibition with 15 vertical banners showing his works from different eras, as well as descriptions of the works shown. The inscriptions are in Italian, English and with a translation into the BiH language. The exhibition was supported by the Embassy of Italy in Sarajevo, which provided banners made in top quality. Another aspect of the exhibition are photographs of reproductions of Italian masters TINTORETTO (29.9.1518., Venice - 31.5.1594., Venice) with 6 works, BOTTICELLI (Florence 1.3.1445., Florence - 17.5.1510. Florence) with 4 works, CORREGGIO (Correggio near Reggio Emilia around 1489, Correggio 5.3.1534.) with 4 works and SALVATOR ROSSA (Naples 20.6.1615., Rome 15.3.1673.) with a portrait of a man in 1640. A catalogue with the complete content and description of the works by Il Perugino on display has been prepared specifically for the exhibition. You can view the catalogue in PDF format HEREThe exhibition is a project jointly implemented by the Association of Citizens of Italian Origin “Rino Zandonai” Tuzla, the Embassy of Italy in Sarajevo, the City of Lukavac and the Lukavac Cultural Center. In agreement with the Italian Embassy, the exhibition will be presented in other cities in BiH.
