The "Day of Italian Cuisine in Tuzla" event has been held continuously for 15 years in Tuzla. The event is held outdoors, on the town square. During the past 15 years - the rain did not prevent the event. It does not rain on the first Saturday in September. Italian specialties were prepared by a slightly smaller number of members due to family and similar obligations that the members had. On the tables were standard Italian dishes, but also specialties prepared especially for the occasion of Kitchen Day. In addition to the gastronomic offer, citizens could get refreshments in the form of juices, water and wine, and Dolce Gusto coffee was also served to those who needed it.
This year, 2024, the event has been expanded with the participation of confectioners who make ice creams using original Italian recipes. The event brought together a large number of visitors who had the opportunity to enjoy the performance of the BalsiKa orchestra, who at the end of the performance treated the people of Tuzla to the composition Bella ciao, which was sung together by members of the orchestra and members of the association. A special feature of the event is the participation of confectioners Gianni from Doboj and Papi gelato from Tuzla. Extraordinary ice creams prepared according to the Italian recipe delighted the people of Tuzla, who said that there is never enough ice cream. The event was a great opportunity for lovers of Italian cuisine and ice cream to explore new flavors and enjoy an unforgettable evening outdoors. The entire offer at the event was free.
