The Embassy of Italy in Sarajevo announced the appointment of Sarah Eti Castellani as Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. On November 5, 2024, Ambassador Sarah Eti Castellani presented letters of credence to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović. During the ceremony, the intense historical, economic, social and cultural relations that unite Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina were confirmed, ties that are reflected in broad and fruitful bilateral cooperation. Very intense relations in the economic-commercial and cultural sectors were especially valued, with the hope of further strengthening them, in addition to investing in the improvement of exchanges between Italian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian cities.
