The center of the "Requiem in Sarajevo" project is the idea that every musical performance, in order to become a great work of art, should also contain ethical elements. This year 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the performance of Mozart's Requiem in the Sarajevo City Hall. an event that drew the attention of the entire Sarajevo world. Then the musicians of the Sarajevo Philharmonic, led by maestro Zubin Mehta and with the participation of the world's great singing stars, Jose Carreras, Cecilia Gasdia, Ildiko Komlosi and Ruggiero Raimondi, sent the message of peace for a peaceful sleep to the children of the whole world, the last piece composed by WAMozart.

Requiem played on October 5, 2024. in Skenderija, in a complex stage performance, it includes, in addition to an orchestra, a choir and great vocal soloists, a ballet ensemble and soloists. The play is completed with original costumes and impressive scenography by Italian scenographer Salvatore Russo and choreography by the famous Sylvia Tomova, all under the watchful eye of director Ognian Draganoff. Mozart's music is permeated with selected texts by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri, and everything culminates in the final scene from Mozart's opera Don Giovani. Along with big European music stars, over 150 top artists of the State Opera and Ballet of Stara Zagora from Bulgaria, as well as artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, were presented on stage. The performance could not bypass Irina Dobnik, a member of the association of Italians from Tuzla, who sent photos before the performance, from the dressing room - before removing her hair and putting on a hat. Dressed in a red luxurious dress, Irina could not leave anyone indifferent. Irina has merits in art, and if she didn't, she wouldn't be part of the extraordinary spectacle "Requiem in Sarajevo".
