ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE EXHIBITION "CRAFTS WITH ITALIAN ROOTS" IN TUZLA AND LUKAVAC _ 15.12.2024.

The Association of Citizens of Italian Origin "Rino Zandonai" is preparing a photo exhibition entitled "Crafts of Italian Roots". The aim of the exhibition is to present the craft tradition and skills that Italians brought from their homeland to the areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Tuzla. The exhibition includes 60 photographs and descriptions of craft families of Italian origin in Tuzla, as well as photographs of old crafts that were part of Italian everyday life, but also the everyday life of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The photographs and exhibits have been collected since August 2024, and the largest number of photographs are from the Association's archives. A number of photographs were obtained from Trento, and photographs that are available in the documentation on old crafts in Italy have also been prepared. An exhibition catalog with photographs of the exhibits will also be prepared for the exhibition. In agreement with the Tuzla Cultural Center - Youth Center, it was agreed that the exhibition will be held from 23.12.2024. to 26.12.2024. The exhibition was arranged with the relevant staff of the Lukavac Cultural Center from 27.12. to 31.12. 2024. The opening of the exhibitions is planned for 14:00. Once the exhibition dates were determined, the announcement of the exhibition and the invitation to participate were sent to donors to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Canton of Tuzla, as well as to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports. The exhibitions were co-financed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Tuzla Canton and the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports within the framework of projects supporting culture and national minorities in BiH.
