The association applied to the public call of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH for support for projects of national minorities in BiH. The application was successfully completed and the Ministry approved the amount of 6,872.00 KM for the implementation of the project entitled "Italians in Tuzla - what we do and what we can". Within the general objective of the project, two specific objectives were defined. The first specific objective is to preserve memory by making and presenting a documentary film about Italian families living in Bosnia and Herzegovina who, with their stories and life stories about their Italian ancestors, preserve the tradition of Italians in BiH. The documentary, lasting up to 20 minutes, will include interviews and recordings of at least 8 members of the Italian community who can share their memories of the Italian past. The script and filming will be done by members of the association in cooperation with students of the Faculty of Journalism in Tuzla. After editing the film, it will be shown in at least 4 cities (Tuzla, Živinice, Lukavac and Brčko). The second specific goal is the promotion of old crafts, tools, devices and household aids, which will be realized through an exhibition of at least 20 exhibits and photographs depicting the tradition of the Italian national minority in the field of using household or work aids, which originate from the regions from which the Italians came to BiH. The project will be realized from January to August 2025.
