Association "Stivor ETS" (Circolo Trentini di Stivor) as the host of the meeting organized a meeting of three associations, which was an opportunity to meet, exchange experiences and potential cooperation, as well as an opportunity to exchange special gifts.
The association "Stivor ETS" (Circolo Trentini di Stivor) is a non-profit, apolitical association founded in 1997 with the help of the association Trentini nel Mondo, then led by director Rino Zandonai. The association cooperated with the community of Trentino in Štivor because the largest number of members of the association Stivor ETC came to Roncegno and the region from Štivor near Prnjavor. After a break in activities, the association adapted its activities to the new legislative framework for non-profit organizations in Italy and developed procedures that enable assistance in providing information and documentation for Trentinos who have come from Štivor and BiH, but also provided different types of assistance for the population of Štivore and surrounding towns, regardless of their nationality. They successfully contributed to the recognition of Italian citizenship for ancestors and parents living in Štivor.
In order to optimize activities and better distribute tasks, they founded and organized the club "Circolo Trentini di Stivor" in Štivor. They worked on many projects, such as helping the population during and after the war conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s, building a house for one family in Štivor, providing lighting for the road to the local cemetery, starting and managing the construction of the local water supply system, awarding scholarships to young people from Štivor and much more.
After several years, the association started a renewed cooperation with the association Trentini nel mondo and it is expected that from 2024 the cooperation will be more concrete and fruitful. With their own efforts, they renewed the work of the association-club "Stivor ETS", which is registered in RUNTS and works independently on various projects. The association is open to cooperation with associations and organizations with a similar mission. The current headquarters of the association is located in Roncegno at Via Monte Di Mezzo 15, in a building that once served as a school, with a hall for meetings and celebrations. Often the space of the association is given to members to celebrate birthdays and other events. The association has a group of musicians who play native music and contribute to the celebration and meetings. The Community of Italians Lipik (Comunita' degli Italiani di Lipik) is an association that gathers citizens of Italian origin in Lipik, R. Croatia. The activities carried out by the association are defined by the objectives in the Statute, namely: organize cultural, artistic, dramatic and musical activities, manifestations, events and concerts; organizes language and educational seminars and courses; organizes exhibitions, sales exhibitions, handicrafts made as part of activities and workshops of ZT Lipika members, performances; organizes educational, cultural and recreational trips; organizes activities in the field of information and publishing; organizes sports, social, humanitarian, health and religious activities suitable for all age groups of its membership; coordinates joint activities with other Communities of Italians and other institutions and institutions of the Italian National Community and their representatives in local and regional self-government bodies; organizes specific professional and legal assistance to its members; cooperates with other national communities in achieving common goals; cooperates with bodies, institutions and other institutions of the mother country, Italy; cooperates with local and regional self-government bodies in order to improve the implementation of constitutional, legal, statutory and other normative solutions related to the rights and protection of members of the Italian national community; prepares and formulates opinions, suggestions and proposals when making normative decisions about the position of members of the Italian national community in a particular administrative area; organizes activities aimed at preserving, protecting, developing the subjectivity, identity and equality of the constitutional and legal position of members of the Italian national community.
